Diane Stites

Diane’s career began in Human Resources with the City of Springfield, where she served 1 year as a Personnel Clerk, was promoted to a Recruiter/Analyst role, and promoted again to a Supervisory role.

Upon leaving the City, she returned to school to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, then went to work for The Boeing Company supporting HR systems. Diane left Boeing after 18+ years and relocated to the Chicago area, where she worked for a large hospital system in much the same capacity as her role at Boeing.

In late 2020, Diane and her partner relocated to Springfield to be near his aging parents where she worked for City Utilities until she retired in July 2023.

In her spare time away from work, she enjoyed a variety of volunteer experiences, including 5+ years serving foster children and foster parents as a CASA in Franklin County and as a volunteer with The Connecting Grounds in Springfield for the past 2 years.

Diane has 2 adult children and a 4-year-old grandson. She and her partner enjoy traveling, concerts, and the K.C. Chiefs!
